Screenings Resume + Door People Wanted

17th July, 2013

We’re back! After a two-week break, we resume screenings with the last two screenings of Semester One before launching straight into our Semester Two programme next Thursday with THE GREAT GATSBY! Don’t forget -- if you’re not yet a member and are planning on signing up for a Semester Two membership, they’re available for purchase now and will also get you into this week’s screenings for free.

We’re also seeking some new door people for our upcoming semester, so read on for more details on that if you’re keen to score a free membership. First, however, here’s what’s on this week:

• Fri 19 July @ 8 PM: A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD followed by DIE HARD

John McClane returns in A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, the fifth instalment in the series, in which McClane (Bruce Willis) travels to Russia to help out his seemingly wayward son, unaware that he's actually a CIA operative working to prevent a nuclear weapons heist.

Then, go back to where it all began with a special 25th anniversary screening of the original DIE HARD. In this landmark action flick, an off-duty cop finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time when a group of terrorists take over the office building where his estranged wife works.

• Sat 20 July @ **7 PM**: THE CROODS followed by TRANCE

In THE CROODS, a caveman family is forced to leave home after their cave is destroyed and unexpectedly embark on a journey of a lifetime through a fantastical and unfamiliar new world. Featuring the voices of Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds.

Then, in TRANCE, an art auctioneer (James McAvoy) teams up with a criminal gang to steal a priceless painting. But after suffering a blow to the head during the heist, he awakens to discover he has no memory of where he hid the art. Directed by Danny Boyle.
