See You in 2020 + Looking for Christmas Gift Ideas?

17th December, 2019

And that’s a wrap on screenings for 2019…

Thank you to everyone who supported us during our first year in our new cinema home. From Kambri to new membership cards, systems, popcorn, the past 10 months have certainly been exciting (to say the least) and we’re incredibly grateful to all of you that have stuck with us through this transitional period.

We will return on Friday 17 January for the remaining five weeks of our Summer 2019/20 programme with plenty more exciting films to come, including KNIVES OUT, FORD V FERRARI, DOCTOR SLEEP, HUSTLERS, TERMINATOR: DARK FATE and more!

Not yet a member, or looking for a gift that keeps on giving? If so, we’ve got the thing for you – if you purchase a current Annual Membership for yourself or as a gift before the end of the year, we’ll extend it by one additional season for FREE! This means that your Annual membership will be valid for the remainder of our current Summer season – and allow you to attend screenings all the way up until February 2021.

This offer is only valid for new Annual ($90) memberships purchased online and paid for by Tuesday 31 December 2019, so be sure to get in quick by heading to now!

Please note that if you already hold an Annual membership, your current membership will be valid until at least February 2020 (or later depending on when you purchased it). The price of Annual memberships will remain unchanged at $90, so renewing it now will be no different to renewing it upon expiry next year.

Of course, there’s nothing to stop you from renewing now and ticking it off your 2020 to-do list if you wish to do so!

Already got your presents sorted? Looking for something to do over the screening break?

While we may be lucky enough to get a break for a few weeks, the need for blood donations unfortunately doesn’t take a holiday. So if you’re eligible and able to do so, we encourage you to please consider giving the gift of life by donating blood to the Australian Red Cross over Christmas.

Call 13 14 95 or go to the Red Cross website – – to make an appointment or find locations and hours for your local donor centre.

The ANU Film Group is also registered with the Red Cross’s Lifeblood Team program, which unites communities around Australia in saving lives through blood donations. You can nominate us as your associated club to demonstrate our support of this worthy cause the next time you visit a donor centre or anytime online by CLICKING HERE
