New Programme Coming Soon + What's On This Week

28th June, 2019

We’re putting the final touches on our next programme for our Spring (July to September) season now and can’t wait to share it with you next week, so stay tuned for news on that!

Plus, in partnership with the ANU, we will be hosting a number of free screenings as part of Moon Week, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing in 1969. These will take place between Thursday 18 July and Saturday 20 July, with the full line-up to be announced next week too.

This week, however, be sure to check out Sweden’s weird and wonderful Oscar entry as part of our Best Foreign Language Film Festival, as well as an action-packed double featuring the return of master assassin John Wick followed by a blast from the past (or is it?) in the original TOTAL RECALL.

• FRI 28 JUNE @ 7:30 PM: BORDER (MA, 110 mins)

A border guard thrives on her ability to identify smugglers with her unique sense of smell, but is soon forced to confront a terrifying reality when she uncovers her true nature in this Oscar-nominated Swedish fantasy film.

• SAT 29 JUNE @ 7:30 PM: JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 (MA, 131 mins) + TOTAL RECALL (MA, 113 mins)

Legendary hit man John Wick (Keanu Reeves) must fight his way out of New York City after a $14 million contract is placed on his head, making him a marked man and the target of the world's most ruthless assassins.

Then, in the 1990 sci-fi classic TOTAL RECALL, Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a man living in the year 2084 who recalls memories of a different life on Mars but can't determine if the experiences are real or planted.
