December has Christmas. February has Valentine’s Day. October has Halloween. And August has the ANU Film Group’s Annual Trivia Night coming up on FRIDAY 31 AUGUST!
If you're reading this and thinking "Not another trivia night!" then you clearly haven't been to one of our legendary trivia nights. Now in its 12th year, this highly-anticipated annual event is a trivia extravaganza unlike anything you'll have experienced at your local pub quiz night.
All questions will be about movies – but we cover a wide range of movies, question types, and even difficulty levels (some require no movie knowledge whatsoever). And it wouldn't be an ANUFG trivia night without heaps of fun audio-visual and interactive elements too.
The event is our primary fundraiser for the year, with tons of exciting prizes to be won, courtesy of some very generous prize sponsors from restaurants, shops and businesses around Canberra. A whole lot of effort (months of planning!) is put into making it a special night for all who come along, so why not give it a try?
The event will be held at the Hellenic Club of Canberra in Woden, on Friday 31 August with entry from 7 PM and questions starting from 7:30 PM.
Tickets are $20 and available for purchase for yourself, a small group, or a whole team of up to 10 people. We'd love to say you'll enjoy it or get your money back... but it is a fundraiser after all, so you'll just have to take our word for it! ;-)
