Two More Free Screenings + What's On This Week

23rd July, 2018

We’re celebrating (or commiserating?) classes being back in session with TWO more free screenings this week – OCEAN’S 8 tonight and SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY on Friday!

Make sure you tell everyone you know and invite them along to check out Australia’s biggest and best film society on us. As a not-for-profit society, we rely heavily on word of mouth to find new members – and inviting new people along to a free screening is a fantastic way of showing off what we do best.

As with all of our screenings, doors will open from half an hour before the film starts, and entry will be on a first come, first served basis until all 371 seats in the theatre are occupied. Please also note that there are no encore screenings of either OCEAN’S 8 or SOLO presently scheduled, so be sure to come along early to avoid disappointment.

Our canteen run by the Rotary Club of Woden Daybreak will also be opening tonight (they normally only operate on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays) with hot dogs, popcorn, hot/cold drinks and a wide array of snacks available for purchase – and all proceeds going to charity. So you can have your favourite movie snack and feel good about it too!
