Arturo (Pierfrancesco 'Pif' Diliberto) is an eccentric Palermo real estate agent whose true passion lies in reviewing local pastries online. When he meets Flora (Giusy Buscemi), a talented pastry chef and devout Catholic, Arturo falls head over heels. Discovering that Flora values faith above all else, the secular Arturo feigns deep religious devotion to win her heart. His lie quickly spirals out of control when he is unexpectedly tasked with managing a major parish festival, a quest so unlikely it earns him a most unexpected spiritual advisor: the Pope himself.

This Italian hit seamlessly blends romantic comedy with sharp social commentary on modern faith. Written, directed by, and starring beloved satirist Pif (The Mafia Kills Only in Summer), based on his own novel, it is a hugely entertaining and gently irreverent comedy about love, faith and finding the perfect pastry.
