When her infant brother is abducted by a murder of crows and dragged into an enchanted, uncharted forest, headstrong teen Prue McKeel (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) ventures into the Impassable Wilderness to save him. Accompanied by her awkward classmate Curtis (Jacob Tremblay), Prue must navigate a dangerous realm populated by talking animals, ruthless bandits, dark cabals, and hostile factions preparing for an all-out war.

LAIKA returns with their most ambitious stop-motion animated film to date, a fantasy adventure so epic that its intricate, hand-crafted animation took them seven whole years to produce. Suitably, the film boasts an all-star voice cast worthy of bringing this breathtaking world to life, including Carey Mulligan, Mahershala Ali, Angela Bassett, Awkwafina, Richard E. Grant and Jemaine Clement. For all the discourse about the use of AI in the arts lately, Wildwood provides a damning counterpoint that art made by artists can never be topped.
