In the fiercely competitive backdrop of the contemporary Los Angeles art world, a naive young man named Elliot (Cooper Hoffman) lands an incredibly lucrative job assisting the iconic, provocative visual artist Erika Tracy (Olivia Wilde). He is absolutely ecstatic when his seductive new employer selects him to become her official sexual muse. However, the dream scenario quickly sours into a perilous nightmare as the artist draws him deeper into a twisted labyrinth of dark obsession and psychological power games. Before long, Elliot finds himself entirely out of his depth, desperately struggling to maintain his relationship with his girlfriend Minerva (Charli XCX).
