PRESENTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EMBASSY OF ARGENTINA
This spectacular eco-documentary follows an intrepid maritime crew embarking on a high-stakes voyage through the treacherous, icy waters of the South Shetland Islands. As the team charts the pristine polar wilderness, they brave the freezing elements to surf entirely untouched, dangerous breaks in a remote region known as Domain One. Beyond the thrilling extreme sports showcase, the narrative shines an urgent light on the severe climate shifts threatening this fragile landscape, acting as a passionate plea for global leaders to establish a massive Marine Protected Area to halt industrial overfishing.
Adventurous filmmaking brothers Joaquín Azulay and Julián Azulay directed this visually magnificent endeavour, marking the seventh cinematic feature released under their acclaimed Gauchos del Mar production banner. Acclaimed Argentinian actor Ricardo Darín lends his gravitas to the proceedings by narrating this original Spanish-language version of the film.
