Travel back to Paris in 1959 with director Richard Linklater’s joyous tribute to the birth of the French New Wave. Nouvelle Vague reimagines the chaotic and rebellious production of Jean-Luc Godard’s masterpiece-in-the-making Breathless, capturing a moment when a group of young artists changed cinema forever. At the centre of the creative storm is film critic-turned-director Jean-Luc Godard (Guillaume Marbeck), who clashes and collaborates with his luminous lead, Jean Seberg (Zoey Deutch), and charismatic actor Jean-Paul Belmondo (Aubry Dullin).

A vibrant, black-and-white love letter to the spirit of creative rebellion, Linklater’s first French-language project blends his trademark philosophical dialogue with a playful, meta-fictional approach. American actress Deutch delivers a transformative performance, having spent two years mastering the language and Seberg’s iconic accent. The result is a witty, stylish comedy-drama that offers an intimate look at legends of cinema before they became icons.

Nominated for ten César Awards, including Best Film and Best Director.

Experience the inspiring and bittersweet true story of Mike (Hugh Jackman) and Claire (Kate Hudson) Sardina, a down-on-their-luck Milwaukee couple who find a second chance at life through their mutual love for music. After a chance encounter, they decide to form "Lightning & Thunder", a joyous tribute band dedicated to the timeless discography of Neil Diamond. As they work to find the right balance of impersonation and interpretation, the duo discovers that their shared passion provides a healing harmony they never thought possible.

Directed by Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow), Song Sung Blue is based on the 2008 documentary of the same name and features a soundtrack packed with Diamond’s timeless hits (Soolaimon, anyone?). Not unexpectedly, the film features powerhouse vocal performances from its talented leads, with Hudson even picking up a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role.

Whether you’re a lifelong Diamond fan or can only sing along to Sweet Caroline (ba ba ba), this uplifting musical drama will hit all of the right notes.
