Barb (Emma Thompson) is a recently widowed, grief-stricken fisherwoman who finds herself lost in the icy Minnesota wilderness during a blizzard. Stopping for help at a remote cabin, she inadvertently stumbles upon a terrifying scene: a young woman (Laurel Marsden) has been kidnapped by a desperate, armed couple (Judy Greer, Marc Menchaca). Isolated, with no phone service and a relentless storm closing in, Barb quickly realises she is the captive’s only hope for survival and must do whatever it takes to rescue her.
