Accidental fortunes lead to escalating crimes in this thrilling French black comedy, directed, written by and starring comedian Franck Dubosc.
The mayhem begins when Michel (Dubosc) swerves to avoid a bear on a snowy Christmas Eve drive in the Jura mountains, accidentally causing a car crash that kills two drug dealers. He panics and flees, but not before discovering a duffel bag containing a staggering €2 million in cash in the wreck. In an attempt to keep the money, his wife, Cathy (Laure Calamy), a devoted fan of crime novels, concocts a series of increasingly absurd cover-ups to throw off suspicion, leading them down a rabbit hole of lies and (surprise) more dead bodies.
Dubosc and Calamy make a terrific duo as two “good people” who descend into comically inept criminality, proving that, sometimes, the most dangerous criminals are the ones who never meant to be criminals at all.

What if ’til death do us part wasn’t the end? This romantic fantasy from A24 explores the ultimate relationship dilemma where every departed soul is given one week to choose who they will spend eternity with.
When Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) arrives in the afterlife, she expects to reunite with her husband of 65 years, Larry (Miles Teller). But a complication arises when her first love, Luke (Callum Turner), who tragically died in the Korean War, also shows up to take his claim after having patiently waited 67 years for eternal life with Joan. Faced with an impossible choice, Joan must choose between the life she loved and the life she could have had.
Cleverly using the afterlife as a vehicle for a heartfelt and funny love triangle, Eternity is a clever, surprisingly funny and poignant look at lasting love and inevitable loss, backed by a strong cast, including Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers).
