Everyone's favourite reformed felons are back! The now-reformed crew of animal outlaws – Mr. Wolf (Sam Rockwell), Mr. Snake (Marc Maron), Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson), Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos), and Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina) – are trying (very, very hard) to be good. Unfortunately, their attempts at rehabilitation are interrupted when they are kidnapped and forced into joining a high-stakes heist, masterminded by a new and formidable team of criminals they never saw coming: The Bad Girls.

This action-packed, globe-trotting sequel from DreamWorks Animation delivers another round of hilarious hijinks as the Bad Guys find themselves on the wrong side of the law once more. Joining the already-impressive voice cast from the original are a new trio of comedic powerhouses, including Danielle Brooks as the dangerously clever leader Kitty Kat, and Maria Bakalova and Natasha Lyonne as her partners in crime.

Four years ago, 13-year-old Finney Blake (Mason Thames) became the sole survivor of the serial child killer known as The Grabber (Ethan Hawke), defeating his abductor and escaping with some help from the ghosts of past victims. Now 17, Finn finds himself struggling with life after captivity, until The Grabber returns to seek vengeance from beyond the grave by menacing Finn’s younger sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw) in her dreams. Determined to end the torment, Finn sets out to solve the mystery of why Gwen is being shown disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp known as Alpine Lake.

Dead is just a word in this follow up to the 2021 horror phenomenon, with director Scott Derrickson and writer C. Robert Cargill returning to the terrifying world they created. Also back are the original cast, including Hawke as a Freddy Krueger-esque version of The Grabber, who has somehow become even more powerful in death.
