More than 30 years since the last film in the iconic spoof franchise, The Naked Gun returns with this reboot/legacy sequel which sees septuagenarian action man Liam Neeson step into the shoes of Frank Drebin Jr., son of the legendary-yet-bumbling cop played by the late Leslie Nielsen in the original series.

In this new (mis)adventure, the younger Drebin must solve a baffling murder case to prevent his entire police department from being shut down. Aiding and abetting him on his investigation are Captain Ed Hocken Jr. (Paul Walter Hauser) and a mysterious femme fatale (Pamela Anderson).

Delivering the same rapid-fire brand of deadpan humour, slapstick comedy and absurd visual gags that made the original films such comedy classics, this revival couldn’t have come at a better – or more necessary – time in the world today.
