For aspiring author Agathe (Camille Rutherford), life working at the iconic Shakespeare & Co. bookshop in Paris is a dream, overshadowed only by her crippling writer's block and longing for a Jane Austen-esque romance of her own. When her best friend secures her a coveted spot at a Jane Austen writing residency in England, it seems her literary fantasies might finally come true.

Surrounded by the very landscapes that inspired Austen, Agathe soon becomes entangled in a romantic triangle with a descendent of Austen herself. As she finds her life unexpectedly mirroring the novels she adores, Agathe must overcome her insecurities to discover what she truly desires.

Jane Austen Wrecked My Life is a delightful romantic comedy, at once old-fashioned about the enduring power of love stories, and refreshingly candid about modern-day courtship.
