En route to a high-powered workplace retreat, widowed lawyer Elliot (Paul Rudd) and his teenage daughter Ridley (Jenna Ortega) accidentally hit and kill a unicorn with their car. Their attempts to cover up the incident puts further strain on their relationship, but events take a bizarre turn when they discover the creature's miraculous healing properties – a discovery which attracts the attention of Elliot's morally bankrupt billionaire boss (Richard E. Grant).

Make no mistake, this darkly comedic horror film from A24 is no fairy tale. Directed by Alex Scharfman in his debut feature, Death of a Unicorn is a sharp, satirical ride with a stellar cast (including Will Poulter and Téa Leoni), unexpected twists, some seriously vengeful unicorns, and a whole lot of purple blood.
