Exploring the sumptuous origins of the extraordinary character at the centre of Roald Dahl’s most iconic children’s book, this is the untold story of a young man determined to change the world one bite at a time.

Running a small candy store isn’t enough for young Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet), who has his sights set on owning a chocolate shop and becoming a chocolatier known the world over. But to achieve his dream and break into the business, he must first challenge the stuffy ‘chocolate cartel’ with the aid of a young girl named Noodle (newcomer Calah Lane).

In addition to the ever-charming Chalamet showing off his singing and dancing chops, this delightfully delectable musical comedy from the director of Paddington also features an all-star line-up of British acting talent from Sally Hawkins to Rowan Atkinson, Olivia Colman, Matt Lucas and, yes, even Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa.

Several years after ascending to the throne as the King of Atlantis, Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) – aka Aquaman – must now also balance duties as a new father alongside his wife, Mera (Amber Heard). But everything and everyone he loves are about to be targeted by the formidable Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), who still holds Aquaman responsible for his father’s death. And the villain is more dangerous than ever as he now wields the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force.

To defeat him, Aquaman must turn to his imprisoned brother Orm (Patrick Wilson), the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save the world from irreversible devastation.

James Wan returns to direct this last hurrah for the DC cinematic universe before it all gets rebooted next year.
