Marina (Elia Galera) and Anna (Eva Martín) are estranged sisters who have led two very different lives: the former a gynaecologist who has been working for an NGO in Africa, and the other still stuck living in their hometown on the Spanish island of Mallorca in the Mediterranean. And it’s to this island that Marina must return when she receives word that she and her sister have inherited a bakery from somebody neither of them have ever heard of. As they try to uncover the secrets hidden behind their enigmatic benefactor and her property, they are forced to confront old family disputes and make up for lost time.

Based on the best-selling Spanish novel by Cristina Campos, this is a classically made melodrama with all the right ingredients: emotion, nostalgia, excellent performances and a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
