The kingdom of Kumandra was once a place of peace and prosperity where humans lived in harmony alongside mystical dragons. But when evil spirits known as the Druun threaten the world, the dragons make the ultimate sacrifice to save humanity.

Now, 500 years later, Kumandra is a fractured land, having been divided into five warring factions by centuries of disarray and distrust. When in-fighting leads to the Druun being inadvertently reawakened, it is up to a lone warrior named Raya (voiced by Kelly Marie Tran) to embark on a peril-laden quest to track down the mighty last dragon in an attempt to defeat the Druun once again. But, as she soon discovers, it will take more than a dragon to save the world.

Featuring a predominantly Asian-American cast, Raya and the Last Dragon continues Disney’s increased effort for representation while maintaining its classic formula for animated success – with original characters, thrilling set pieces and stunning animation.
