SCREENING PRESENTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE DE CANBERRA IN CELEBRATION OF THE 2021 EDITION OF THE ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL, WHICH RUNS FROM MARCH 4 TO 31 IN CANBERRA.

Victor (Daniel Auteuil) is a disillusioned man in his 60s whose long marriage to Marianne (Fanny Ardant) is now on the rocks. He meets Antoine (Guillaume Canet), the owner of a company which allows people to perform a version of "time travel", and is given the chance to relive an era of his choice through staged historical reenactments.

While some choose to visit significant moments in history, Victor chooses to revisit the most significant moment of his life: when he first met Marianne at La Belle Époque café, in hopes of rekindling his love for her. What follows is a magical, romantic testament to the power of nostalgia.
