Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, now middle-aged best friends Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) must set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that they must compose a new song to save life as we know it. Instead of writing it, however, they decide to travel through time to steal it from their older selves. What could possibly go wrong?
