They’re creepy and they’re kooky – and now they’re back on the big screen for their first-ever animated adventure!

When the Addams family make the move to a new town, they are aghast to discover that their new neighbourhood is populated by colourful, cheery suburbanites. They soon learn that the entire town is being run by a controlling reality TV host (Alison Janney), who will stop at nothing to rid her perfect world of the freaky new arrivals. As Gomez (Oscar Issac) and Morticia (Charlize Theron) face off against this crazed new nemesis, Wednesday (Chloë Grace Moretz) attempts to fit in at the local high school, while the rest of the household make preparations for their extended family to arrive for a major celebration.

PRESENTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EMBASSY OF SPAIN

The 21st film from Spanish master filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar, Pain and Glory is one of his most acclaimed and personal efforts in years – and Spain’s official submission to the Best International Feature Film category at the 2020 Oscars.

Salvador Mallo (Antonio Banderas) is an aging film director who finds himself reflecting back on his life when he is invited to a 30th anniversary screening of one of his hits. The tribute inspires him to sift through the chaos of his existence – from his addictions to his passions to his family – in an attempt to use the past to salvage his future. As we have come to expect from Almodóvar’s work, there is plenty of his signature melodrama, bold colours, emotional detail, mother issues and, of course, Penelope Cruz.
