Teenager Yi (Chloe Bennet) finds her life changed forever when she unexpectedly encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her Shanghai apartment building (as you do). She soon realises that the lone creature is in trouble and on the run, being hunted by a wealthy animal collector (Eddie Izzard) and his zoologist henchwoman (Sarah Paulson). With two friends in tow, Yi sets off on an epic journey across China to safely reunite the creature – which they name ‘Everest’ – with his family at the highest point on Earth.

Abominable is the latest film from the makers behind the How to Train Your Dragon series, a magical and beautifully-animated Far East adventure for the whole family.

12-year-old Max (Jacob Tremblay) has a dilemma: he’s just been invited to a party where he’ll get the chance to finally kiss his crush, but he doesn’t know how. Eager for some pointers, Max recruits best friends Thor (Brady Noon) and Lucas (Keith L. Williams) to use a drone to spy on the teenage couple constantly making out next door. Things take a turn for the disastrous, however, when the prized drone is accidentally destroyed, and the boys decide to skip school to buy a new drone – a decision which sets off an entire series of misadventures.

Definitely not one for kids, Good Boys is chock full of crude humour, but there’s fun to be had and a thoughtful message beneath it all.
