A marksman (Wahlberg) living in exile is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the President. Ultimately double-crossed and framed for the attempt, he goes on the run to track the real killer and find out who exactly set him up, and why.

Wahlberg does a great job in acting the part, delivering depth, sarcasm and credibility to the character in a way I have rarely seen in an action film. The only disappointment is Danny Glover, who plays Colonel Isaac Johnson - not only are his lines MEGA cheesy, but the guy doesnt seem to believe what he is saying.

An all round awesome film with a very thick, unpredictable plotline. If you like action films with actual storylines (i.e. not The Fast and the Furious), you'll love watching this.'

Reno 911! is a Comedy Channel show (the same people that give us "South Park"). It is essentially a spoof of the long-running TV show "Cops". It revolves around the Reno Sheriffs Department, an incompetent bunch of law enforcers that make Lt. Frank Drebin look like Jack Bauer! The gang head to Miami for a police convention and, through a set of interesting coincidences, find themselves solely in charge of maintaining law and order in the town.

This is a movie for those who love their comedies puerile and silly. I do, as long as they're also well written, and this one is. You don't need to have seen the TV show to get the characters and situations (I haven't). It also knows not to outstay its welcome (it's 77 minutes long, which I felt was just right). There are random movie tributes (Paul Rudd as Scarface? Needs to be seen), cameos (Pee-Wee Herman, Dwayne Johnson aka ... well, see the movie) and, of course, bodily function jokes (the scene where they go from hotel window to window is priceless!)The prize for "Best Cop Comedy of the Year" has already gone to Hot Fuzz, but this comes in a solid second!'
